Who’s the star of this fun movie?
There’s a huge male in the video, but he’s not really the star of this film.
In fact, there are several moose to enjoy with “Moose & Coffee” today.
I was super excited when I found this buck, and at first he fooled me from afar, I thought it might be Drop Tine.
It seems I’m always on the lookout for DT, anyway… this guy is Dagger.
Many of you will remember that I introduced him a few weeks ago.
When I found him, I didn’t think there would be so much excitement all at once, especially since it was almost the end of the rut.
There are moose calves fighting, a cow and her calf, a big bull, and Libby is in charge of telling the story.
I’d say my favorite part is when the two little males are testing each other, trying to figure out what it takes to fit in.
We’re working on solving another moose puzzle, but I won’t make an announcement until I’m sure.
We’re still excited about solving the Swagger/Menace puzzle, and we didn’t do it alone.
A dear friend shared his opinions and identification skills with us, and between the three of us, we found the solution and Swagger came back with a vengeance, but he’d never really disappeared.
